Who it is for, and who it is not.
It is for the shop running on texts, a notebook and a paper calendar. That is where a job system changes the day: the quote goes out the same hour, the invoice gets paid the same week, and nothing lives only in your head.
It is not a replacement for Jobber, Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan. If you already run one of those, keep it. Front Door feeds the system you have: the website, the listing and the phone send the work in, and your software takes it from there. You should not have to switch.
Who owns the data.
You do. Your customer list, your jobs, your quotes and your invoices are yours at all times, including after you cancel. It is section 5 of the client agreement, in writing.
Where it is sold.

Do I have to use it?
No. It is included with Front Door because most of our clients need it, not because you are locked into it. If your shop already runs on Jobber or Housecall Pro, Front Door feeds that instead.
Can my customers pay by card?
Yes. Invoices carry a card-payment link through your own Stripe account. The money goes to you directly, and the job marks itself paid when it clears.
Does anything go out without me?
No. Every customer email is drafted for you and sent only when you tap Approve on your phone. Dismiss it and it never leaves.
