Google Business Profile optimization for contractors.

Most of your calls come off the map, not your website. If your listing is unclaimed, thin, or wrong about your hours, you are invisible in the one place a customer with a problem looks first.

What is broken today.

This month we audited a Tulsa plumber who answers his own phone 24 hours a day, with more than 150 Google reviews and a 4.8 rating. His profile had never been claimed. The panel still said "Claim this business" and "Add website." He earned the reviews the hard way and could not add his hours, a photo, a post or a link to any of them, because the listing was not his to edit.

An unclaimed or unmanaged profile cannot carry your website, your emergency hours, your photos or your posts. It cannot answer a review. It shows Google the wrong category, or no services at all. "Google Business Profile optimization service" is searched about 480 times a month in the United States (Semrush, September 2026) by owners who have worked that out; most never do.

What we do.

Claim and verify the profile in your name, by whichever method Google asks for: postcard, video or phone
Set the primary and secondary categories and the services list, so the listing shows for the jobs you actually do
Hours, including emergency and after-hours availability, so "open now" is true when it matters
Photos of real trucks, real work and real people, refreshed as the work changes
Posts and offers written for the season your trade is in
Review replies, every one, in your voice
The website and the booking link wired in, so the listing and the site tell Google the same story: same name, same number, same hours

Where it is sold.

Inside Front Door, Kaico's monthly service for the trades, from $900 a month, next to site care, the 24/7 phone, the scheduler and the job system. The one-time claim and cleanup is also part of a Front Door Fix or a Website Build, because a site nobody finds on the map is half a front door.

Frequently asked.

Is this the same as Google Ads?

No. The Business Profile is the free listing on the map and in search. Google Ads is paid placement above it. We do both; this page is about the listing.

Can you get me reviews?

We ask for them after paid jobs, in your voice, and route unhappy customers to you first. We never buy reviews and never write them. Google removes fake ones and can suspend the listing that carried them.

What if someone else claimed my listing?

It happens with old marketing vendors and former partners. We file Google's ownership request on your behalf and document it.

How long until it shows?

Verification depends on the method Google offers, usually days to a couple of weeks. Changes to hours, categories and photos appear within days of verification.
